Update 1 of 22 March 2025

🆕 Update in the “Checks” section: New “Deadline” column & overview of ongoing Checks

There are two helpful updates in the “Checks” section to make planning easier and improve your overview:

New “Deadline” column in Upcoming Checks

All key dates for a planned Check can now be entered in a single row – for better clarity and easier handling.

📌 Important: Work from left to right and enter the dates in this order:

1. Send date of the Check

2. Deadline – the date by which the team should respond

3. Talk date

⚠️ Note: The Talk date must always be after the Check deadline.

You can still view and edit the Check questions by clicking the small pencil icon. New Checks can be planned as usual via “Add Check”.

New overview of current Checks

Above the “Next Checks” section, you’ll now find an overview of the current Checks your team is currently answering.

At a glance, you’ll see:

  • when the Check email was sent
  • the current deadline
  • the Talk date
  • and who is moderating the upcoming Talk

💡 Hover over the green number in the Questions column to see all questions included in that Check.

📍 Find it: In section “Checks”

The Teamwork Assistant now supports you even more during your Mooodtalk preparation – with automated features that save time and provide structure.

A few days before the deadline, all team members who haven’t answered the Check yet will automatically receive a reminder by email.

👉 You can choose how many days before the deadline the reminder is sent.

🆕 New Sidebar Menu & Quicklinks

We’ve reorganized the sidebar so that it now matches the steps you go through in Mooodtalk: You start with the Check, then receive the results, have a Talk, and finally update or adjust your Wiki. All functions related to a specific step can now be found in the matching section.

👉 For example:

  • Want to plan or edit a Check? Go to the “Checks” section.
  • Want to update something in the Wiki? Head to “Wiki”.

We’ve also added Quicklinks to the overview page. These let you jump straight to where you need to go – for example, directly to the Talk preparation.

15.11.2024

Update of 15 November 2024
  • Objective: Overview of how team-internal and cross-team collaboration works and which focus topics need to be addressed
  • Frequency: Once per quarter (recommended), send out on the same day for all teams
  • Time required: approx. 5 minutes
  • Availability: For all teams that already use Moodtalk (if possible, all teams in the entire organization)

🆕 What is the Teamwork Check?

The Teamwork Check consists of several questions on collaboration within and across teams. The Teamwork Check consists of two parts:

1. Part 1: Assessment of collaboration within the core team: first, collaboration (positive aspects & challenges) within one's own team is assessed.

2. Part 2: Assessment of collaboration with other teams: All teams with which the team regularly collaborates are then recorded. Collaboration with these teams is then also assessed in terms of positive aspects and challenges.

Why does it make sense to carry out the Teamwork Check directly with all teams?

From our work with numerous teams in various companies, we have recognized that cross-team collaboration is a key challenge. Improving cross-functional and cross-team collaboration is a strategic goal that can only be effectively addressed at the organizational level.

In order to create more transparency and to be able to give the teams specific recommendations for their further development, it is crucial to introduce the Teamwork Check comprehensively and organization-wide from the very beginning.

What is the result of a teamwork check?

Each team that has completed the Teamwork Check will receive:

1. Assessment of the mood (incl. reasons) in the core team as an average value and standard deviation

2.Assessment of collaboration in the core team as an average value and standard deviation

3. Overview of positive aspects of collaboration in the core team (incl. anonymized comments)

4. Overview of the challenges of collaboration in the core team (incl. anonymized comments)

5. A teamwork map that shows the collaboration with all the teams the team interacts with regularly.

6. Proposal for a teamwork journey, i.e. which other focus topics could be taken up by the team and in which order to improve teamwork

What happens in the teams after the Teamwork Check?

1. Discussion of the results of the Teamwork Check: The teams go through the results of the check together in a short meeting (approx. 30') and agree on the Teamwork Assistant's proposal for the order of the upcoming focus topics.

2. Mood talks on team-specific focus topics (derived from the results of the teamwork check): For each focus topic, the team receives special preparation questions and AI-supported guides that help with the preparation and implementation of the mood talks.

3. Next teamwork check will be carried out
